I am a certified yoga teacher having completed my 200 hr. teacher training certificate at the Mindful Body under the graceful tutelage of Mailie Sivert and Caroline Kelley. My approach to yoga is very somatically-based; exploring the inner inner workings of each pose and, perhaps, more importantly, the space in between poses (because do we ever really arrive?). I love allowing for improvisation and creative expression, turning yoga into more of a personal and unique dance. My philosophy is grounded in my belief that when we add creative expression to anything, the potency and healing capabilities of that expression in amplified... it becomes connected to a deeper part of our being and our body's language.
